Everyone has an authentic voice, and we can make a difference by sharing our experiences and perspectives. People want to know what has helped and what has given you hope. Let them know they are not alone. Writing and sharing personal stories can be a profound experience. It can awaken awareness and help people heal by providing comfort to those facing similar challenges and reducing our own sense of isolation. Do you have a mental health recovery story you would like to share? Email us!
If you have lived experience with a mental health disorder we would like to invite you to take part in a focus group (small discussion group) about behavioral health support, resources and service delivery in Idaho. The focus group should last no longer than one and a half hours and will provide an opportunity for you to find out about ways to get involved in behavioral health efforts. Your responses will be used to learn more about Idaho’s behavioral health climate from the consumer and family member perspective. We use this input to inform the types of educational activities and resources we offer. Your feedback is completely anonymous and greatly appreciated! If you would like to take part in the focus group please let us know by calling (208) 336-5533 or emailing us.
